LNAlyzer – Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2025

Overview

LNAlyzer is a Chrome extension that helps users view and understand Local Network Access (LNA) requests made by websites they visit. The extension runs entirely on the user’s device and does not transmit any information to external servers.

Information Collection and Use

LNAlyzer does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

The extension processes network request details locally within your browser using the webRequest API. This data is displayed only to you and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Permissions Explained

Host Permissions (<all_urls>)

Required to detect when a website attempts to make a Local Network Access request. The extension does not access or modify website content.

webRequest Permission

Used solely to observe LNA-related requests and display them in the extension’s interface. The data remains on your device and is never transmitted externally.

tabs Permission

Used only to identify which tab initiated a request so it can be displayed to you for context. No browsing history is collected or stored.

Data Storage

LNAlyzer does not store any logs or data outside of your browser’s memory. Closing the popup or tab clears the displayed information.

Third-Party Sharing

LNAlyzer does not share any information with third parties. It has no analytics, tracking scripts, or external communication of any kind.
